SCSA matches operate under a cold range. Please do not arrive with a loaded gun on your person. If you are new to SCSA or competitive shooting please find a match director when you arrive and we will help you.
New shooters are encouraged. We will have a new shooter briefing before each match. Please be confident with basic firearm safety. Please ensure that you have a secure holster that completely covers the trigger guard of your pistol. Bring and use a bag and clear-chamber indicator (Zip-tie or commercial) for long guns. Bring 5 magazines for each gun, if you have them. More is ideal. A typical SCSA match is between 125 and 175 rounds. A good rule of thumb is to bring double the round count.
Registration is done using PractiScore. We currently ONLY accept cash payments. Please see the registration form on PractiScore for information.
We use an email list to distribute information and PractiScore links. Send an email to bangandclang@gmail.com with something to the effect of “Please send me monthly SCSA information”.
